A NEW YEAR

A New Year, New Beginning, New Challenges, New Experiences

I often feel like Yeah I get to start over when this time of year comes around. Mostly wanting to be a better person. I have so much to be thankful for. Where does a person even start? For one I really get to update this Blog. I get to learn more about blogging and using my new cell phone. I know you think I am crazy but those are huge challenges for me. Oh well to each his own, right?

We had a wonderful Christmas with yes 5 trees. I absolutely loved it. Fun new decorations for the one in the living room to go with my wonderful balls with grandkids names on them. I have been looking for a long time for fun red and white decorations to go with the clear balls with red and white ribbon and red vinyl names. Well a friend of Tammy's had some and was able to order me some and I love them. Nostalgia gets me every time so I have to put a little tree up that reminds me of old things and my childhood. Of course the guest room has to have one. It is little but fun. I love, love, love having one in my bedroom. Several nights only having the tree lights on laying in bed with my MP3 player. Yes nice!! I was on a roll. I couldn't not have one in the bathroom. What can I say. Yes crazy but fun.

New Year's was fun with family and friends over. Playing games and eating good food. What can I say or rather doesn't that say it all? Like I said before so much to be thankful for.

I am definately looking forward to a great NEW YEAR!!

YEAH!! IT IS 1:00 IN THE MORNING AND ONLY ONE MORE PRECINCT TO COUNT. YEAH!!

Angela how great for you to experience your first time voting. Way to go! I hope you all enjoyed the experience.

I am happy for it to be over even though I respect it and apreciate the right.

Beauty in Rexburg

HOW BEAUTIFUL IS THIS? As we are going out the door this morning for work we could see this reflection of colors on the window. We opened the garage door and walked out to see this. There have been many mornings that the sunrises have been beautiful and as I have backed out in the car I have called Lyle on my cell to tell him to bring down his camera and take pictures. Today with the reflection on the windows upstairs we both knew that it must be incredible and we both needed to go see together. Camera in hand these are just a couple of pictures we took. Incredible was exactly what it was. It is absolutely amazing to start the day with seeing something like this. Of course we are very partial to sunrises and sunsets anyway but this was breath taking. Notice the Tetons!

To Vote or Not To Vote or I vote Where?

Where do I vote? I'm not registered. But I am registered in another state. I am just passing through from another state so can I just vote here? I don't want to be a resident in Idaho I just want to vote. Want to vote or need the credit? I want to vote but I don't want to change residency to Idaho because Washington doesn't have income tax????? I need to know where you live to tell you where to go and vote. I live in Rexburg. What is your address? I don't know, pause, where do we live?? I swear that we have registered all 12,000 University students.

"One week left. " Needless to say we have a lot of licorice, cookies, trick or treat candy and about anything else that we can find in our office to get us through the day. Lots of Diet Coke works well too.

After work hours I appreciate the quiet at home , sitting in my recliner and no one talking to me. Oh, I especially appreciate Lyle's patience. He is truly the best!!

I am hoping that you all know your address, whether or not you needed to get an absentee ballot or just register and find out your polling place. I hope that you will vote because it is your constitutional right and that you love our country and it's freedoms.

Is this so sweet or what? Snuggling on my shoulder, seeing that absolutely gorgeous smile with those little dimples. Yes what can I say she stole all of our hearts.

What is funner than Auntie Sarah giving the boys candy nose boogies and edible bugs.

Good visit with grandma and grandpa. They enjoyed loves on little Belle. Grandma just kept kissing her little hand. Grandpa was a bit nervous holding her. He was afraid she was going to slip off his lap. It was a great weekend.

My New Adventure

This is so exciting. I have loved reading everyone else's blogs and thought how fun it would be to do my own. My computer experience has been limited to work unfortunely so this is a new adventure. Great fun!!
